Laboratory for the Certification of Asphalt Technicians (LabCAT) Grand Junction CO. April 14 to 17, 2025 RMAEC Instructor, Greg Potts and RMAEC Director of Training, Tom Clayton, will be in Grand Junction for LabCAT certifications.
Certifications for:
- Levels A, B, C, C minus Design & E – both standard and streamline sessions
- Asphalt Paving Materials (APM) Inspector – Standard Session (April 14)

RMAEC TRIP EXPENSE SURCHARGE ADDED TO CERTIFICATION FEES
Holding the LabCAT certification program in GRAND JUNCTION provides a significant benefit for those in the Western part of Colorado. The cost of taking the certification program to Grand Junction is paid for by splitting the travel expenses equally amongst all attendee's .
Again, this year, the expenses will be “shared by all”.
A certification surcharge will be added to the certification fee of each person registered. The surcharges will be reflected on an invoice which will be sent after the certification week is concluded, and the final trip expenses are known. The expense total will be divided equally by the # of people registered.
